JOIN CHANGE THROUGH PLAY FOR SOME DAYTIME PLAYTIME!

The wait is over! Our first daytime improv class has arrived! This course is designed for beginner and intermediate improvisors with non-traditional schedules to come together to play, learn, and develop new skills. Our six-class series will be anchored in teaching participants traditional improv skills, however we'll be approaching these skills from an actor's mindset.

That makes this class not only ideal for actors and performers who are looking to anchor and improve their craft but also for business professionals and other curious students who wish to engage in deeply informative play.

Our curriculum will focus primarily on verbal and non-verbal communication, creating fast agreement, learning story and scene structure, and releasing ego and control as we embrace joyful silliness.

OUR NEW CLASS IS CAPPED AT 10 PARTICIPANTS. That way, so you'll receive more personalized feedback and time to work. 💪 👍🏼  🎭

Student Information

Improvisation is spontaneous. The unexpected not only CAN happen, it often DOES. Because of that, we strive to create an environment of artistic exploration and freedom in a safe and permissive atmosphere. In our studio, participants are allowed and encouraged to experiment while they learn. If we make mistakes - and we most certainly will!! - that's OK. We don’t believe that our goal is to avoid mistakes: it’s to learn from them when they occur.

Our community asks all participants & instructors to follow these simple guidelines:

* Be welcoming and kind to everyone!
* Have fun!
* Accept and celebrate differences!
* Communicate & respect boundaries in a kind way!
* Assume good intentions!
* Allow for mistakes! 👍🏼 😊

If you see something, say something. We include many opportunities to speak/share during class. If you’re uncomfortable: tell the community why or, if you prefer, speak to an instructor during a break or after class. We’re here to help you on your journey.

Please use your mouse/finger to sign below to confirm you understand and commit to these guidelines.
